Breaking News-Department of Health and Human Services Rescinds Disciplinary Actions Against Whistleblower Dr. Michael Tilus

BREAKING NEWS

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued a letter today to Dr. Michael Tilus, rescinding disciplinary actions that harmed the whistleblower.  As Whistlewatch.org reported on July 31, 2012, bmdyak4  Tilus had been severely disciplined by management at HHS after he blew the whistle on dangers to public health and safety, then communicated with members of Congress and others.  In a series of letters Dr. Tilus spelled out his grave concerns for the health and safety of children in the Indian Health Service programs. Some of which were sexually abused or died.

Congratulations to Dr. Tilus!  Hats off to Yvette Roubideaux, who rescinded the whistleblower retaliation actions.  Hands clapping to The New York Times for the excellent article.  d8muej
